I think the way I did it was to swap the wires where they connect into the board, on both the drivers for the steppers and the limit switch pins that need to match them. In my case I also needed to edit the travel distance in millimeters in my config file to swap them there.

This is not the easiest way to swap axes.

Without putting too much thought into it, I would probably just swap x and y there and see what happens lol.

@Michael_Melancon was right, changing “X” and “Y” did the trick. It works exactly like I wanted. Super easy.

It’s a simple change that anyone can do. It’s probably dangerous to have a year old config file hanging around for a custom wired board, for something that is very easy to explain if someone happens to want to do it.
