Buck converter(s) could work perhaps?
Ah. I’m using a standard LowRider design, with belts for X and Y. Only the floating Z torch mount is a departure from normal LowRider.
Using long lead screws is something I was not accounting for, and I guess it makes use of larger steppers make more sense.
