This is a little different from other squaring topics. I simply could not get my wrench on the tension bolt of the trucks because the stepper motor and heads of the bolts for the idlers are in the way. I did solve this by making a special tool out if a 1/8th inch thick, 21 mm wide piece of scrap steel. I had to drill a 1/2 inch hole in the end, square it with a saw, file it to just fit the 13mm nuts, bend it a little, file the sides a bit, and it worked but a bit of a pain. In the next redesign please provide enough room for a standard metric wrench to get a grip on the bolt. Here the tool and tool in action.
Hasn’t been a problem for me at all with a normal wrench, but it was fiddly, I’ll give you that. Since the LR is the focus at the moment, it might be a while (if ever) until a new version of the Primo will be released.
It’s partly that.
It’s also that the LR4 is exceptionally good, even scaled down to what was once only MPCNC territory.
The next MPCNC might be a different machine layout, if anything in that form factor comes at all anytime soon.

I understand and if no one else has had this problem I would also give it low priority. I think the dimensions are very close, however, so slight changes can make the task difficult. I notice my new metric wrenches are a lot chunkier than my old Imperial ones. Also, I printed all the parts with a .8mm nozzle for greater speed of printing and strength. Yes, it makes things a fraction of a mm tighter but I just drill out the holes and I had to do just a little filling to the the rail tops to fit right. Also the hexagons for nut capture are sometimes too small but I just heat them with a flat soldering iron and they slip right in.
In any case, I printed my solution in case anyone else has this problem. Thanks for the quick reply.
