Cat6 to energize multiple functions

I have a question for the brain trust.

I used cat6 network cable from the Jackpot to the VFD to operate the spindle on my first build however I only used 1 of the twisted pairs. I am using Bart Dring’s Isolated RS485 module. I would like to use the the other twisted pairs to energize my dust collection and coolant. What are peoples thoughts on using the same cable for all these sperate uses. On the original I ran a dedicated cable for each function, I did this to eliminate the possibility of EMI in the system.

Are they all signal voltages and not power? If you pair ground and signal wiresas twisted pairs for each signal, it should be fine. I would avoid 110v or high current 24V on that cable.

The RS485, then 2 5v, one to turn on the dust collector the other for the coolant pump.

Should all just be signals, nothing exotic.

Should be fine. For perspective, you can run “power over ethernet” devices with those cables without issue. I’d do it.

I ended up isolating the spindle to its own cable then running the other 2 in a single cable.

Thank you for your sharing your knowledge sir.

Happy to help! and I give refunds if it doesnt work.
