Can the Lowrider 3 handle these materials?

Hello folks,
I am new to CNC machines and have a few questions before I start building.

Can I machine the following materials with the Lowrider 3?

  • vermiculite boards (fire protection boards)
  • Alu Dibond plates
  • 3-6 mm aluminium plates (drilling holes etc.)

Is the Lowrider 3 suitable for this or not?
And would the Makita router be enough for this or would I need something more powerful?

Thank you very much.

I don’t know what vermiculite boards are, but for the other two: yes. Makita is enough.

What about acrylic glass, does that also work without problems?
I would also like to know if there is one cutter / bit for these materials or do I need different ones?

Acryllic does work with cooling or trochoidal.

You will need different bits. Aluminium and wood are different, acryllic uses a 1-flute. Vermiculite I am not sure what would be best. I have a lot of different endmills for different things nowadays.
