Nah, not worth the return. Just not doing those any more.
I wonder if you could reduce tearout with a “scoring” pass of like 0.2 mm before making the cutting passes. I’ve seen saws that have a second blade in front of the first to score the plywood veneer before the main blade cuts it.
I’ve been cutting from some new-to-me plywood with a very thin veneer as well. Thinking this through has give me some ideas to try. Thanks for sharing.

I though about doint a 3mm pass with the downcut, but seriously, the ply is discoloured after oiling. It’s absolute trash.

The real power play would be to use ai to read position, harmonics, load etc and constantly adjust your feed and speed accordingly. The closed loop is begging for it.
