Bit of slack in the core

Hi guys

Today while performing a cut I noticed that the core when turning corners had a bit of leeway and was a bit “jumpy”. I thought that this kind of slack probably can affect the precision in the piece.

My thinking is maybe i need to tighten more the grip in the pipe? Didnt want to do it without asking for a second opinion cause i know too tight can be problematic

Yes. The top 2 bolts are where the tension is set. Tighten these VERY slowly! Just until you get no more “rocking” in the core. Over tight can be just as bad as loose.
