Docs recommend removing the plastic shrouds, for steppers and endstops. The wiring is so much more secure for it. Here’s how I removed mine….
Am using couple of 40x20 fans as a belts and braces thing, but am not sure they’re required, my climate isn’t super hot and am not running long jobs, or with high current that risks drivers overheating and shutting down during a job.
