Advice for buying a 3D printer to print all the really cool extra doodads y’all are sharing?

If you have the budget get the Bambulab X1-C (there is a new probably bigger one coming on first of December)
If you want core XY but cheaper get the P1S

If you just want to start and have fun get the A1

There is no reason to go full open source on a printer anymore. The Bambu Printers work just out of the box i have my x1-c since almost two years and i never had to repair or change anything. they just print. I had six different printers before from the early super Diy printers to cheap Chinese ones which i heavily upgraded over the years and always had troubles. I Love the story of Prusa and how they innovated the DIY 3D Printing scene right from the beginning. I used them at university and our local makerspace they work great but in my point they are to expensive. Don’t get an Ender they are just a pain in the a**. They are cheap but lack in functions and you have to repair, upgrade and calibrate them all the time to print at least “OK”

If Bambu, then now because they have great black Friday deals.

P1S with the AMS is a joy to use, zero complaints.

The AD5M, Prusa Core One and X1C/P1S all appear great… i am leaning towards the X1C with the AMS… Black Friday and all. So long as I can ASA print headlight rings (9.625” diameter) on that bed, I can justify the cost… may take a year to earn the cost back but oh the LR4 addons I will be able to print…waiting on shipping…. its gonna be like watching my favorite pepperoni pizza baking in the oven, you know, when the those little pepperoni just start to curl.
